He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Feist and Catherine Feist (Senger); his wife Irene Gefroh; his siblings, Anna Aberle, Kathryn Wald, Helen Feist, Mary Rosselli, Emily Sederholm, Magdelyn Ogle, Regina Williams, Eva Deibert, Anthony Feist, Edward Feist, Daniel Feist and Paul Feist; his son-in-law Gerald Qvale; and his great grandchild Baby Feil.
He is survived by: his brother Minot Sash; his children, Michael Feist, Marilyn Qvale, Myron Feist (Kathy), Mark Feist (Rhonda), Marlene Krebsbach (David), Maynard Feist (Heidi), Marvin Feist (Cindy) and Mary Hassler (Jerry); his granddaughter Sarah Steen (Chad); his great grandchildren, Gus, Edith, Piper and Romy; his grandson Adam Feist (Ashley); his great grandchildren, Faye, Thomas and Benjamin; his grandsons, Seth Feist and Jacob Feil (McKenzie); his great grandchildren, Benton, Lux and Willow; his granddaughters, Stephanie Feist and Melissa Erickson (Arlo); his great grandchildren, Ace and Emma; his grandson Aaron Feist; his great grandchildren, Julien and Jane; his grandchildren, Samantha Krebsbach, Carter Krebsbach (Julia) and Danielle Escorcia (Jordan); his great grandchildren, Hayden and Everett; his granddaughter Kayla Farber (Tim); his great grandchildren, Nora and Edward; his grandchildren, Zachary Hassler (Kristin) and Jordan Hassler (Lacy); his great grandchildren, Harrison, Lincoln and Callahan; his granddaughter Holly Schild (Steven); his great grandchild Stella; his sisters, Agnes Leier (Felix) and Dorothy Leier; and his sister-in-law Jean Feist.
He was a charter member of the St. Joseph's Community Foundation and was Chairman for two terms.
