He was predeceased by: his parents, John Pratschner and Helena Julie Pratschner (Schlegel). He is survived by: his wife Virginia Rowe (Meyer); his stepdaughters, Karen Otteson (Brian) of Casselton, ND, Jacqueline "Jackie" Lindman (Jed) of Eagan, MN and Donna Anderson (Jeff) of Gwinner, ND; and his sister Helen Geinert. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
