He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Flaig and Nathalia Flaig (Brandenburger); and his brothers, Bill and Paul. He is survived by: his wife Iris Flaig; his children, Susan Anderson (Gene), Val Olafson, Steve Flaig (Rendae) and Clay Flaig (Kim Rutherford); his grandchildren, Gene Anderson (Alison), Jesse Anderson (Cathy), Matthew Anderson, Zachary Flaig, Adam Olafson (Samantha), Josh Olafson (Sharon), Deidre Myers (Matt), Amber Gustafson (Greg), Danielle Walch (Ryan), Brayann Olafson, Gabrielle Anderson (Richard), Harmony Olafson, Kajun Olafson and Ayrn Flaig; his great grandchildren, Lexi, Hunter, Taylor, McKenzie, Adrian, Syler, Bryce, Jazmyn, Henry, Dominic, Henley and Leo; and his sisters, Catherine Roemmich (Norman) and Vera Whitney. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
