He was predeceased by: his mother Bertha Pahl (Koepplin); and his brothers, George and Loren. He is survived by: his children, Chad Pahl of Fargo, ND, Shawn Pahl (Kristin) of Fargo, ND, Sabrina Pahl-Seaton of Sioux Falls, SD, Shane Pahl of Jamestown, ND, Savanna Pahl of Jamestown, ND and Whitney Pahl of Jamestown, ND; his stepchildren, Jason Boltz of Crystal, MN and Summer Boltz of Jamestown, ND; and his siblings, Jule Pahl of Jamestown, ND, Alice Norton (Bob) of Carrington, ND, Joyce Kline, Judy Geringer (John) of Fargo, ND, Jeanette Cote of Sioux City, IA, Gordon of Jamestown and Larry of Jamestown. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren.
