He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Brown and Laura Brown (Reich); his wife Edna Rutgerson; his siblings, Hank Brown, Albert Brown, Cliff Brown, Clarence Brown and Helen Miller; his sisters-in-law, Birgit Matchey and Helga Franz; his nieces and nephews, Clancy Brown, Eddy Matchey, Romelle Manske and Marlys Sjostrom; and his pets, Jack, Big Boo, Little Boo, BooBoo, Jocee, Toby, Chico, Sir, Joi and Zoi.
He is survived by: his daughters, Linda Brown of Jamestown, ND, Susan Dockter (George) of Jamestown, ND and Sandra Brown of Jamestown, ND; his nieces, Judy Shepard (Bill), Jannet Hendrickson (Barry), Cindy Brown Card, Edy Matchey and Phyllis Zentner; and his nephew Avery Miller.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to the James River Humane Society would be appreciated.
