He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbert Legler and Kate Legler (Mulinex); and his siblings, Victor Legler (Marlys), Myrna Bultema (Dick) and Lois Rose (Jack).
He is survived by: his wife Lenora Roemmich; his children, Colleen Mehrer (Roger) of Plymouth, MN and Russell (Beth Winkelhake) of Freeport, TX; his grandsons, Philip Mehrer (Sara) of Plymouth and David Mehrer (Quinn Keller) of Chicago, IL; and his great grandchildren, Warren Mehrer and Walker Mehrer. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
