He is survived by: his wife Lillian of Jamestown, ND; his son Darrel; and his daughter-in-law Sharon Hertel of Jud, ND. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, and 15 great great-grandchildren; 2 sisters.
