He is survived by: his former wife Dorothy Knecht; his children, Nikki Steckler (John) of Jamestown, Mindy Alfstad (Justin Valenta) of Jamestown and Quinn Pahl of Minot, ND; his siblings, Sheila Kropp (Gene), Sandy Braaten (Carmon), Lyle Alfstad and Nancy Wolsky (Jeff); and his grandchildren, Addison, Axl and Avix Steckler. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousin.
