She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Spencer and Alma Spencer (Dahlquist) of Beardsley, Minnesota.; her son Brian Lacher; her son-in-law Michael Bender; and her sisters, Doris Pattison, Dorothy Ziemer and Betty Spencer.

She is survived by: her husband Philip Lacher; her children, Craig Lacher (Pamela) of Cummings, ND and Gwen Stanley; her daughter-in-law Jean Lacher of Sioux Falls, SD; and her sister-in-law Kay Vosburg of Oakes, ND.. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
