It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Neil Barkus (Jamestown, North Dakota), who passed away on September 28, 2022, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Neil Barkus to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Barkus and Verna Barkus (Morrison); his siblings, Duane, Lura Hills and Lida Duncan; and his son-in-law James Walters.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Richter; his children, René Walters, David (Lucy), Kurt (Robin), Van (Sylvia) and Todd (Brenda); and his grandchildren, Chasity Behrend, Sara Garcia, Nicole Schulte, Trent Barkus, Estee Hall, Chelsea Barkus, Miles Barkus, Lydia Barkus and Aaron Barkus. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
