She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl H. Smith and Elizabeth Smith (Gutting); her siblings, Dale, Earl David and Edna Mae; and her brothers-in-law, Kenneth Cavett, Kent Bartl, Roger Jensen and David Holtan.
She is survived by: her sisters, Arlene Nitschke (Alton), Carmen Cavett, Mardell Bartl and Cheryl Liebel (Terry); her sisters-in-law, Peggy Smith and Carol Holtan; and her close friend Dakota. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and the special friends.
