He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Erickson and Elva Erickson of Jamestown; his brother Gary; and his sister-in-law Carol Erickson. He is survived by: his sisters, Alice Larson (James) and Jan Hetletved (Gene); and his nieces and nephews, Pam Daly (Mike), Christine Ardal (Stale), Gerald Erickson (Jacque), Glen Erickson, Don Erickson (Jen White), Cale Kiser (Lavonne), Jeff Kiser (Vangie), Lee Hetletved (Penny) and Clint Hetletved (Lacey).
