She was predeceased by: her parents, John P. Roorda and Hilda Roorda (Lengkeek); her husband John; her sisters, Annetta Hansen, Rena Van Dyke and Julie Heim; and her great grandchildren, Addison and Karissa Winter.
She is survived by: her children, Darwin Van Dyke (Jill) of Minot, ND, Duane Van Dyke (Carla), Gladys Ruckle (Jim) of Bloomington, MN, Linda Kylmanen (Ken), Beth Tudahl (Ron), Karen Hanson (Dick) and Lavon Veil (Jeff); and her brothers, Perry Roorda of Valley City, ND and Arnold Roorda (Joyce). She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
