She was predeceased by: her mother Essie Lee Ankerson (Silcox); her husband Harold P. Bensch; her father George J. Ankerson; her daughter-in-law Janis L. Bensch; and her parents-in-law, George H. Bensch and Anna E..
She is survived by: her daughter Julia Dunnigan (Terry); her grandson Christopher (Maries); her son Paul Bensch; her adoptive son Brian Kamlitz (Melissa); her sister Bernice Hogan (Ankerson); her sister-in-law Judy Winter (Bensch); her nieces and nephews, Kathy Ziegler (Tom), Suzy Neumann (Paul) and Kim Pepera (Tim); her brothers-in-law, Jim Winter and Larry Hogan; her great-niece Jordan Elizabeth Neumann; and also, Tanya Olson and Kevin. She is also survived by 12 great nieces and nephews and 16 great great nieces and nephews.
Her last cruise was in 2020 before COVID-19 with her entire family.
