She was predeceased by: her husband Eugene Haugen (Gene); her daughter Corrine Haugen; her parents, James Samek and Mary Samek; and her siblings, George Samek (Agnes), Laudie Samek (Agnes), Wensel Samek (Mary), Bernard Samek (Barbara), Valentine Samek, Mary Albrecht (Ervin), Mildred Clarys (Joseph) and Georgie Ann Cherney (Taft).
She is survived by: her children, Tom (Cindy) of Dickinson, ND, Kathy Jenrich (David) of New Rockford, ND, Peg Johnson (Raymond) of Carrington, ND, Jeff Haugen (Yvonne) of Dickinson, ND, Rob Haugen of West Fargo, ND, Rick Haugen (Tess) of Dickinson, ND and Laurie Haugen of Bismarck, ND; and her siblings, Patricia Cherney (Laudie) of Jamestown, ND, Bertha Lorenz (Lloyd) of Fond, Frank Samek (Deb) of Fargo, ND, Benedict Samek (Rosalia), Steven Samek (Karen) of Alexandria, MN and Vitres Samek (Sarah). She is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
