He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Briss and Ella Briss (Walen); and his brothers, Fred and Marvin. He is survived by: his wife Elaine Vigesaa; his children, Martin (Mary) of Enderlin, ND, Lanette Diede (Dean) of Jamestown, ND, Neil of Chandler, AZ, Loren J. (Gia) of Enderlin, ND, Rick (Lisa) of Jamestown, ND and Cathy Briss (Dion) of Jamestown, ND; his siblings, Don (Renae) of McHenry, ND, Carol Miller of Cooperstown, ND and Avis Pittenger (Orville) of Cooperstown, ND; and his sister-in-law Darlene Alfson of Binford, ND.. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren.
