He was predeceased by: his father Russell Newman; and his grandparents, Harold, Mary Newman, James and Billie McCalmont.
He is survived by: his mother Billie Newman (BJ); his sibling Boomer; his children, Bernadette, Thomas, Amelia, James, Peter, Clare, Mary and Edward; his wife Tara of Mary's Cathedral; his siblings, Matt (Amber), Ty (Sacha), Jake, Russell II (Laura), Rachel Ebeling (Chris) and Amy Clark; his in-laws, Thomas, Bevery Kelsch, Tracy Tharaldson (Matt), Talea Weibye (Josh), Trenton, Tabatha (Dan) and Tate Kelsch; and his nieces and nephews, Ellie, Lucy, Blaise, Violet and Colton. He is also survived by 22 nieces and nephews and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
