He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Betty Ekre; his cousin Ruthie (Terry Timm); his children, Lori Mecklenberg of Winnemucca, Stacy Meck, Ella, Ari, Zach and Ben Mecklenberg of Manchester, NH; his mother-in-law Leone Lubben of Wheaton, MN; his siblings-in-law, Linda Volker (Gary) of Herman, MN, Beth Johnson (Paul), Larry Lubben (Sheila) of West Fargo, ND and Steve Lubben (Rose); and his son Lee.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Ken's honor are preferred to the Jamestown Regional Medical Center (JRMC) Cancer Center.
