She was predeceased by: her parents, Lorentz J. Kjelvik and Olga Kjelvik (Myrland); her husband Walter T. Schmidt; her daughter Rhonda Rabideaux; her son-in-law Michael Raaum; her siblings, Leif Kjelvik, Norman Kjelvik, Harold Kjelvik, Hjordis Martell and Sonja Larson; and her siblings-in-law, Hazel Kjelvik, Marlene Kjelvik, Wendi Kjelvik, Frances Nordby, Marie Frater, Elizabeth Schmidt, Doris Schmidt, Albert Larson, Francis Martell, Emil Schmidt, Benjamin Schmidt, Orlin Nordby and Delos Frater.
She is survived by: her children, Ilene Schmidt (Raaum) and David Schmidt; her grandchildren, Amy Nash, Ericka Wentz (Steve), Michael Schmidt and Tanner Schmidt; her great grandchildren, Aubrey Wentz, Asa Wentz and Riley Wentz; and her sister-in-law Rojean Kjelvik.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Haut Funeral Home (1101 5th Ave NE, Jamestown, ND 58401). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
