She was predeceased by: her parents, Garfield Rick and Geneva Rick (Griffin); her siblings-in-law, Lois Rick and Robert White; and her great-nephew Michael Mueller.

She is survived by: her granddaughter Sara; her husband Tim Griffin of Moorhead, MN; her son Seth Griffin (Michelle); her siblings, John Rick (Eileen) of Carrington, ND, Ron Rick (Liz) of Jamestown, ND, James Rick of Minot, ND, Diane White of Redding, CA, Nancy Mueller (August) of Minot, ND, Julie Rick-Schrade (Scott Miller) of Jamestown, ND and Judy Seher (Dave) of Jamestown, ND.; her siblings-in-law, Mark Griffin (Connie) of Bismarck, ND, Paul Griffin (Nora) of Bismarck, ND, Robert Griffin of Bismarck, ND, Dan Griffin (Janet) of Columbus, MT, Connie Kleinknecht (Glenn), Mesa of Arizona and Laura Becker of Valley City, ND.; and her parents-in-law, Richard T and Dorothy Elaine Griffin (Walzak).

Burial: at a later date at Calvary Cemetery, Jamestown ND, Memorial donations can be made in Jean's name to Tim Griffin.
