He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Hamm and Doris Hamm (Henning); his sister Rogene Greer; his son Darrell Wiest; and his great grandchild Madison Hoyt.
He is survived by: his wife Laurie Hamm; his nephew Scott Greer of Los Angeles, CA; his great-niece Heather Black; his daughter Leanne Wiest of Valley City, ND; his daughter-in-law Marlene Wiest; his sisters-in-law, Ethel Anderson, Carol Hillstrom and Jean Baker; and also, James Wiest (Roxanne) of Jamestown and Curt Wiest (JoMarie) of Jamestown.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials that will be gathered and gifted to the Alzheimer's Association.
