With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Harriet Joyce Kartes of Jamestown, North Dakota, who passed away on December 4, 2020 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Meiklejohn and Elsie Meiklejohn; her husband Charles Kartes; her sons, Mark and Steven; her children-in-law, Mary Jean and Gary Dietrich; and her sister Doris Martin.
She is survived by: her children, John Kartes, Virginia Kleven (John), Elizabeth Dietrich and Tom Kartes (Theresa); her daughter-in-law Corine Kartes; and her brother Gary Meiklejohn (Ilana). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.
