She was predeceased by: her husband Alden Vannett; her siblings, Rose, Ervin, Lorn, Roy and Roger; and her parents, Rene Lakefield and Leona "Bergerson" Lakefield.
She is survived by: her children, Jodi Vannett of Maple Lake, MN, Jon Vannett of Moorhead, MN, Joe and Melisha Vannett of Moorhead, MN.; and her sisters, Gladys Lakefield of Sherwood, ND, Renee (Don Frasier), Carol Vannett of Minot, ND, Carla Vannett of Minot, ND, Cheryl (Paul Jaschob) and Alwyn (Karin Vannett). She is also survived by 7 nephews and 11 nieces, and many great-nephews and nieces.
