It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gordon Loper of Jamestown, North Dakota, born in Lemmon, South Dakota, who passed away on August 23, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Loper and Elda Loper (Higby); his stepchildren, Marti and Lisa Freymark; his brother Marvin; and his siblings-in-law, Walter, Burnette, Alvin, Lorretta and Eileen.
He is survived by: his wife Diann; his sons, Gary (Char) of Spearfish, SD, Ken (Nina) of Deland, FL and David (Julie) of Lemmon, SD; his grandson Dillon Loper (Mariah) of Crosby, ND; his stepgrandchildren, Ted Kelso (Ashely), Dustin Kelso of Hettinger, ND, Stephanie Blom (Todd) of Tower City, ND and Christopher Freymark of Jamestown, ND; and his sister-in-law Helen Elhard of Gackle, ND. He is also survived by 13 step greatgrandchildren.
