He was predeceased by: his parents, R. B. Saar and Florence Saar (Aygarn); and his brothers-in-law, Russell McMillan and Don Rumer. He is survived by: his wife Ardell; his daughter LuAnn Tschaekofske (Bob); his grandchildren, Jared Reinisch, Jenessa Reinisch, Matt Tschaekofske (Cassidy) and Nicole Larson (Andrew); his sister Ruth McMillan; and his sister-in-law Mariana Rumer. He is also survived by seven step-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Faith Lutheran Church (309 4th St NE, Valley City, ND 58072). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
