He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Carlson and Lydia Carlson (Gaier); his wife Annette; and his siblings, Robert and Joyce Elaine Carlson.
He is survived by: his children, Julie Orr (Lindsay), Judy Carlson (Lyle Wergeland), Gerald Jr. "Bud" (Darlene), Jeffrey (Nancy Bader), Jacqueline Akin (Michael) and James (Caroline Fischer); his grandchildren, Thomas Orr (Matty), Aberdeen, Jessica Johnson (Matt), Zoe Wergeland Manstrom (Peter), Nicole Martin (Dustin) of Warrenton, OR, Samantha Akin and Ashley Akin of Minnetonka, MN; his great grandchildren, Lyndon, Jocelyn, Ellen, Juliette, Brekken Orr, Charlie, Jack Johnson and Phoenix Martin; and his siblings-in-law, Lora Ganser, Carol Ganser, Diane Balster, Barbara Huseth (Allen), Mary Zillmer (Dale), Betty Ament (Vince), Francis Ganser, John Ganser, Robert Ganser, Mary Lou Carlson, Elizabeth Ganser and Judy Ganser. He is also survived by friends and relatives.
Cremation has taken place and due to Covid19 restrictions, a memorial will be held on Monday June 15th at the Catholic Church; with a social reception at the funeral home Celebration of Life Center, following the burial, to allow for people to share stories and memories of Jerry.
