She was predeceased by: her parents, Julius Nelson and Cassie Nelson; her husband Walter Hanson; her siblings, Lorreine Ingraham, Agnes Bohl and Arnold Nelson (Bud); her son-in-law Charles Romer; and her grandson Scott Romer.
She is survived by: her daughters, Ardith Stein of Muscatine, IA and Joyce Romer; her grandsons, Jeffrey Stein and Mark Stein; and her great grandchildren, Grady Stein and Clayton Stein.
