He was predeceased by: his parents, Ervin L. Sahr and Rachel Sahr (Wood); his parents-in-law, Ray Hauck and Rosella Hauck; and his sister-in-law Penny Sweetser.
He is survived by: his wife Eunice Sahr (Hauck); his children, Craig Sahr (MiMi), David Sahr (Jess) of Fargo, ND and Cindy Soulis of Fargo, ND.; his grandchildren, Tyler Lagerquist (Carissa) of Minot, ND, Travis Lagerquist (Jennifer) of Casselton, ND, Lexi Marsalek (Gage Brooks) of Jamestown, ND, Peyten Soulis (Jayden Whanger) of Fargo, ND, Huntyr Sahr (Taylor Roddie) of Fargo, ND, Trekkyr Sahr of Fargo, ND and Reis Soulis of Fargo, ND.; his great grandchildren, Acelynn, Finley Lagerquist, Coy and Kyah Lagerquist; his siblings, Ron Sahr (Darlene) of Billings, MT, Francis Kurtz (Jerald) of Jamestown, ND and Dennis Sahr (Shirley Job) of Bismarck, ND; and his brothers-in-law, Reinhard Hauck (Sherlene) of Dunn Center, ND and Larry Sweetser of Fairfield, CA.
Viewing was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the Victory Lutheran Church (510 9th Ave SW, Jamestown, ND 58401). A prayer was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
