He was predeceased by: his parents, William Ames and Bluette Ames (Roulette); and his siblings, Proctor, Ronald (Marcela), Leroy, Evelyn (Alfred), Dorothy (Durward) and Charlotte (Bob).
He is survived by: his children, Barbara Emery (Russell) of Bismarck, ND, Jeanette Gravseth (Dan) of Bismarck, ND, Rhonda Nelson (Randy) of Bismarck, ND and Doug Ames (Carrie) of Minot, ND; and his sister-in-law Jaci Ames. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.
Celebrating the Life of Eldred: Due to the Coronavirus Pandemic, A Private Family Funeral by invitation will be held Tuesday, November 10, 2020, at 9:00 a. m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot.
In lieu of flowers, memorial are preferred to American Legion Rice Deede Post #205 in Woodworth, ND 1885 55th Ave SE Woodworth, ND 58496.
