It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edna Brown of Jamestown, North Dakota, born in Buchanan, North Dakota, who passed away on May 14, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Rutgerson and Gertrude Rutgerson (Carlsson); her sisters, Birgit Matchey, Helga Franz, Lillian Gertrude and Gertrude Edwina; her nephew Eddy Matchey; her nieces, Romelle Manske and Marlys Sjostrom; her siblings-in-law, Helen Miller, Hank Brown, Albert Brown, Cliff Brown and Clarence Brown; and her pets, Tony Boy, Little Boo, BooBoo, Jocee, Toby, Chico, Sir, Joi and Zoi.
She is survived by: her husband Roy Brown of Jamestown, ND; her daughters, Linda Brown of Jamestown, ND, Susan Dockter (George) of Jamestown, ND and Sandra Brown of Jamestown, ND; her nieces, Jannet Hendrickson (Barry), Judy Shepard (Bill), Edy Matchey, Phyllis Zentner and Cindy Brown Card; and her nephew Avery Miller.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to the James River Humane Society would be appreciated.
