He was predeceased by: his parents, John Nygord and Ovidia Nygord (Frojen); and his brother Bob. He is survived by: his wife Joanne; his children, Greg, Cindy and Teresa; his brother Fred Nygord (Mary); and his stepchildren, Chuck Leininger (Sandy), Sheila Walter (Ron), Joel Gernhardt (Wendi) and Tim Gernhardt. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
