He is survived by: his former wife Victoria Vigil; his wife Holly Hansen; his children, Daryl Sommerdorf, Jr. of Jamestown, ND, Melissa Sommerdorf of Jamestown, ND, Joshua Herman of Jamestown, ND, Bryan Sommerdorf (Jennifer) of Story City, IA and Ryan Herman (Lynda) of Niche, ND; his grandchildren, Mia, Juda, Emily, Kegan, Chase, Isabella and Victoria Sommerdorf of Story City, IA; his stepmother Dorothy Sommerdorf of Jamestown, ND; his siblings, Don Sommerdorf (RaeAnn) of Jamestown, ND, Jeff Foster of Jamestown, ND, Barbara Foster of Jamestown, ND, Debra Anderson of Jamestown, ND and R. C. Foster of Phoenix, AZ; and his mother-in-law Beverly Patzner (Cal) of Jamestown, ND.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
