He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Hanson and Inez Hanson (Kleinheksel); his children, Kellie Buchanan of Jamestown, ND and Douglas; his brothers, Lyle, Gary and Alvin; and his son-in-law Albert Buchanan.
He is survived by: his sons, David (Jodee) of Bismarck, ND and Dan (Erica) of Fisher, MN; and his siblings, Arnold of Adrian, ND, Donald (Maryette), Gene of Edgeley, ND, Kenneth of Aurora, CO, Randy of Watford City, ND, Brian, Mavis Smith of Adrian, ND, Karen Lagodinski (Leon) of Edgeley, ND, Debra Kitchel and Tracy Dale of Jamestown, ND.. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren.
Dale was a member of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation and loved hunting.
