She was predeceased by: her parents, Emily Nelson and Victor Nelson; her husband Leslie Morud; her daughter Melissa; her siblings, Verner, Leland, Ethel, Vera and Aurora; and her daughter Julie Jane.
She is survived by: her children, Rollie Morud (Cathy), Bemidji, Debbie Bartz (Charles), Pam Hansen (Terry), Margo Brisben (Keith), Monica Morud and Robin Barkus (Kurt). She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.
While healthy in many ways, she suffered her last years with Alzheimer's.
Cecile was born on March 30, 1927, on the family farm, the daughter of Emily and Victor Nelson.
