He is survived by: his wife Darlene Brockman; his children, Kari Sauer (Brian Jost), Mark Brockman (Margaret Brockman) and Heidi Schmeichel (Jay Schmeichel) of Bismarck, ND.; his grandchildren, Kelsey Seelig (Trent Seelig), Sommer Dutton, Evan Schmeichel, Grant Schmeichel, Pierce Schmeichel and Ciara Schmeichel; and his great grandchildren, Harrison Dutton and Keegan Seelig.
