He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Rumer and Georgetta Rumer (Wellman). He is survived by: his wife Jeanette "Jan" Schock; his daughters, Kimberly Jones (Steve) and Kari Court (Ben); his stepchildren, Paula Dickerson (Wayne) and Eric Stormoen (Leticia); and his sisters, LaVonne Anderson (Vernon) of Jamestown and Carol Davis (Jack) of Arizona. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren.
