He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Hoffer and Pauline Hoffer. He is survived by: his wife Madelyn; his sons, Joel (Cindy) and Cletis; his grandchildren, Peter, Philip Hoffer, Jacqueline Bertram (Jake), Laura and Alexa Hoffer; his great grandchildren, Michael and Christine Bertram; and his sister Leona Hoffer-Iszler. He is also survived by partners in a father son farm with his parents.
