He was predeceased by: his father John Brakel; and his grandparents, Ella, William Burzlaff of Wheatland, Henry and Nellie Brakel of Hurdsfield.
He is survived by: his wife Rachel; his children, David, Aaron and Allie; his mother Karen Brakel; his brother Russell Brakel (Melissa); and his nieces and nephews, Breanna, Tyler and Kaylynn.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Feldman Mortuary Chapel (1673 York St, Denver, CO 80206). A burial was held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 from 1:45 PM to 2:00 PM at the Emanuel Cemetery.
