He was predeceased by: his son Brian; and his brothers-in-law, Jim Binger and LaVern Zimmerman. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis; his daughters, Robyn Widley, Lori Jo Plambeck (Dan), Fargo Schnell and Julie Schnell (Brian); his grandchildren, John, Jesse, Stephanie Plambeck, Hayley Erstad (Tyler), Jordie Schnell and Jaime Schnell; his sister Jeanne Zimmerman of Grand Forks, ND; and his sisters-in-law, Audrey Binger of West Fargo, ND and Roberta Pulskamp (Leo). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the First Lutheran Church in Hunter or the charity of your choice.
