He is survived by: his children, Kimberly Rehurek (Brian) of Mandan, Nicole Ronning (Josh Hruza) of Horace, David Ronning (Jaimie) of West Fargo and Matthew Ronning (Kayla) of Mapleton, ND; his grandchildren, Parker, Lilika, Aria and Layla; and his siblings, Paul of Valley City, ND, Wayne (Terri), Perralina Palm (Ken) of Reno, NV, Audrey Bredeson (Rick) of Valley City, Judy Sand (Randy) of Tuttle, ND, Debby Brock (Wayne) of Dickinson, ND and Marilyn Odegaard (Tom) of Valley City. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
