She was predeceased by: her parents, John Brosell and Hazel Brosell; and her husband Frank Joyce. She is survived by: her children, Nancy Shepard (Scott) and Eric Joyce; her siblings-in-law, Mary Lindsey (Paul) and David Joyce (Kim); her cousin Clarence Jermstad; and her granddaughter Johanna Joyce.

In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred to Hospice of the Red River Valley.
