He was predeceased by: his stepfather Doyle Wheeler; his aunt Janice; and his close friend John Newman. He is survived by: his parents, Dale Overton (Debbie) and Linda Overton (DeWig); his wife Mary Rud; his children, Kiersten Overton, Ryne Overton and Lindsey Overton; his grandchildren, Gracie and James; his brother Jeremy Busing (Sonja); his grandmother Polly DeWig; his uncle Steve DeWig; his aunt Susie Hale; his stepchildren, Darren Spicer and Megan Rud; his stepgrandchildren, Isaiah and Kinsleigh; his close friends, Erica Bryant, Teddy Duneghy and Jason Newman; and his pet Veda. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews.
