With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jay Thompson of Horace, North Dakota, born in Breckenridge, Minnesota, who passed away on December 28, 2020 at the age of 62. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jay Thompson and Marna Thompson (Peake); his wife Karen A. Campbell; his children, Danielle Hewson (JD) of Horace, ND, Alisha MacDonald (Dan) of Horace, ND, Michaela Dye (Seth) of Fargo, ND and Dustin Campbell (Jennifer Ernst) of Horace, ND; his grandchildren, Jade, Jaelyn Hewson, Payton Jay, Paizley, Paxtynn MacDonald, Savvy, Myan Dye, Whitney Ernst, Levi and Logan Campbell; his great grandchildren, Norah and Reid Larson; his siblings, Gene Thompson (Vicki) of Kindred, ND and Jackie (Brian); his mother-in-law Barb; his grandparents, Oscar, Alma Thompson, Kenneth and Rose Peake; his sister Vicki Thompson; his father-in-law Dewey "Pops" Campbell; his uncle Walter Jerger; his cousin Annette Jerger; and also, Walter and Mavis Jerger. He was also cherished by his three daughters, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
