Jacobsen (Hope, North Dakota), born in Luverne, North Dakota, whose life came to an end on February 20, 2025 at the age of 82, leaving behind cherished memories. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edna Jacobsen (Ihry) and Viggo Jacobsen; his wife Bertha Jacobsen of Agatha's Catholic Church; his grandson Brady Jacobsen; his children-in-law, Heather Jacobsen and Bruce Mitzel; his siblings, Betty Ihry and Jerry Jacobsen; and his in-laws, Jim Ihry, Marlin Kroeplin, Bonnie, Everett Skinner, Bob, Janet Kainz, Jim Ewing, Clarence Kainz, Marj Kainz, Marlys Jacobson and Mike Kainz.
He is survived by: his children, Teresa Mitzel of Eagle, ID and Tab Jacobsen of Hope; his grandchildren, Jordan Mitzel (Brogan) of Nampa, ID, Taylor Mitzel of Eagle, ID, Bailey Pfiefer (Nic) of Fargo, ND and Bo Jacobsen of Hope, ND; his sisters, Renee Dale (Jack) of Colorado Springs, CO and Debra Kroeplin of Hope; his great grandchildren, Kallen, Charlotte, Chloe, Treyson and Jace; and his in-laws, Betty Ewing of Fargo, Ed Kainz of Hope, Patricia Satrom (Larry) of West Fargo, Fay Kainz of Weaver, AL, Jim Jacobson of Finley and Nancy Kainz of Hope. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St Agatha's Catholic Church (604 Steele Ave, Hope, ND 58046). A prayer will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Agatha's Catholic Church (604 Steele Ave, Hope, ND 58046). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
