She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Peter Funk and Marie Funk (Arnold); her children, Patricia Sebastian (John), Peggy Hankel (Kevin), Polly Olson (Dale), Mike (Amy), Hope, Penny Anderson (Paul) of Edina, MN and Pam Aberle (Randy); her brother Herman Funk (Carolyn); her husband Wayne; and her brothers, Otto (Shirley) and Paul Funk (Gladys). She was also cherished by fourteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to Dakota Boys and Girls Ranch, PO Box 5007, Minot, ND 58702 or African Heart American Soul, 300 NP Ave, #205, Fargo, ND 58102 as a remembrance of Frieda's compassion for children less fortunate than her own children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
