It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard LeRoy Kragness of Hillsboro, North Dakota, who passed away on January 25, 2022, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Kragness and Verona Kragness (Ellingworth); and his grandparents, Olaf, Sevrena Kragness (Brekke), Jesse and Clara Ellingworth (Hovland).
He is survived by: his wife Carol Ann Emery of Hillsboro, ND; his children, Amber Nichole (Patrick) of Moorhead, MN and Adam Kragness of Hillsboro, ND; his grandson Ryan Peden; and his siblings, Carole Larson of Grand Forks, ND, David Kragness (Janice) of Warroad, MN, Yvonne Thomas (Karl) of Mentor, MN and Ron Kragness (Julie) of Mentor, MN.. He is also survived by his 2 sisters and 2 brothers, many nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
