With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Merle F. Sorum of Hillsboro, North Dakota, who passed away on March 2, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Sorum and Edith Sorum (Boeddeker); and his grandson Brian Sorum. He is survived by: his children, Deb Kroger (Steve) of Piedmont, SD, Brad Sorum (Jode) of Hillsboro, ND and Greg Sorum of Minneapolis, MN; his stepchildren, Mike Sandsmark (Jane) of Plymouth, MN, Tom Sandsmark of Estero, FL and Anne Sandsmark of Wesley Chapel, FL; and his sisters, Maureen Metz (Dale) of West Fargo, ND and Melva Engel (Dale) of Eugene, OR.. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
