He was predeceased by: his siblings, Richard and Ardith; his parents-in-law, Millie, Richard Keller, Leslie Goodwin, Howard Carver and Richard Benson; and his sister-in-law Carole Carver.

He is survived by: his wife Marlys Kaupang; his children, Marcia Onsgard of Halstad, MN, Mark Weibye of Hillsboro, Marty Weibye (Michelle) of Parkers Prairie, MN and Jerry Weibye of Brooks, MN; his sister Darlene Johnston (Jim) of Lady Lake, FL; and his siblings-in-law, Judy Hagen (David) of McIntosh, MN, Patti Benson of McIntosh, MN, Lorene Tranby (Todd) of McIntosh, MN, Mary Goodwin of McIntosh, MN and Dean Holstad. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, and 19 great grandchildren.
