It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marlis Olsen of Hillsboro, North Dakota, who passed away on September 18, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Bonnie Mueller (Richard) of Hillsboro, ND, Tom Olsen (Steph) of Hillsboro, ND, Jim Olsen (Jackie) of Eden Prairie, MN and Lynette Gust (Terry) of Eden Prairie, MN; her daughter-in-law Kathy Olsen of Park Rapids, MN; her siblings, Charles Thielman (Jean) of Fargo, ND, Allan Thielman (Carol) of Fargo, ND, John Thielman of Fargo, ND, Bev and Janice; her son Jerry Olsen; her significant other Edwin Olsen (Sonny); and her parents, Herman Thielman and Viola Thielman. She was also cherished by Her 13 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Ed Olsen Memorial Recreation Fund for our area youth.
