She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Steffen and Dorothea Steffen (Grothmann); her husband Donald Riemer; her siblings, Raymond Steffen, Walter Steffen, Elroy Steffen and Elaine Steffen; her sisters-in-law, Georgia Steffen and Carolyn Steffen; and her granddaughter Elissa Riemer.
She is survived by: her children, Curtis Riemer (Stacey) of Hillsboro, ND, Peggy Riemer and Carolyn Schatz (Randy) of Horace, ND; her brothers, Willard Steffen of Fergus Falls, MN and Robert Steffen (Susan) of Dayton, MN; her sisters-in-law, Joanne Steffen and Sharon Steffen of Grand Forks, ND; her grandchildren, Dale Riemer (Marie), Gust Riemer, Jessica Schatz and Devin Schatz (Amanda); and her great grandchildren, Lola, Boden, Vivian, Freya and Hazel. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
